Booklet Wisata Berbahasa Mandarin Menggunakan Metode Komunikatif di Museum Jenderal Soedirman Purwokerto

Abstract

Penelitian ini berdasarkan praktik kerja yang telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari sampai Juni tahun 2022. Adapun tujuan dari kegiatan tersebut adalah menghasilkan booklet wisata berbahasa Mandarin dengan menggunakan metode komunikatif sebagai upaya memperluas jangkauan informasi mengenai Museum Jenderal Soedirman khususnya kepada wisatawan penutur Bahasa Mandarin. Penulis menggunakan tiga metode pengumpulan data, yaitu metode observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka karena ketiga metode tersebut dapat membantu penulis dalam mengumpulkan data-data yang dibutuhkan. Penulis dalam menerjemahkan booklet menggunakan metode komunikatif agar tersampaikannya pesan secara efektif kepada pembaca. Penulis juga menggunakan teknik penerjemahan yaitu teknik deskripsi sebagai pendukung. Menggunakan teknik deskripsi dapat membantu penulis dalam proses penerjemahan booklet wisata. Hasil praktik kerja ini adalah booklet wisata berbahasa Mandarin. Manfaat menerjemahkan booklet wisata di Museum Jenderal Soedirman untuk membantu memperkenalkan dan memperluas jangkauan informasi museum melalui booklet wisata kepada wisatawan penutur Bahasa Mandarin.

This study was based on work practice that has carried out from January to June 2022. The purpose of this activity was to produce a Chinese-language tourist booklet using the communicative method as an effort to expand the range of information about the Jenderal Soedirman Museum, especially to tourists who speak Mandarin. The author used three methods of data collection, namely the method of observation, interviews, and literature study because these three methods could assist the author in collecting the required data. The author in translating the booklet used a communicative method so that the message was conveyed effectively to the reader. The author also used a translation technique, namely a description technique as a supporter. Using description techniques could help writers in the process of translating travel booklets. The result of this work practice was a Chinese-language travel booklet. The benefits of translating tourist booklets at the Jenderal Soedirman Museum are to help introduce and expand the range of museum information through tourist booklets to Chinese-speaking tourists.
